A very exciting few days, during which Surrey, Kent and Hampshire each won three matches and lost one resulted in the winning county being decided on a countback of games wons. Kent were victorious, with 19.5 game points, to Hampshire’s 18.5 and Surrey’s 17. Surrey had the consolation prize of winning the Stableford foursomes cup, with 115 stableford points from the best three of the four games.
