Our Junior Organiser is Karen Francis, Karen played County squash and when a knee injury curtailed that she took up golf and currently has a handicap of 1.3. She runs a clinical and sports psychology business and tends to specialise working with teenage adolescents. In her first report to the County Karen said, ” I took on this role as I am really passionate about supporting the younger generation to have the opportunities to play and enjoy golf and be able to progress to an elite level.  I’m keen to carry on the good work and framework that already exists for Surrey Junior girls and my main objectives are to make sure that the girls feel supported and have opportunities to play competitively and that communication between the girls, parents, coaches and the junior committee are clear and strong.”
